How do I book an appointment?

Fill out the booking form with a thorough description of your idea, the placement and the approximate size. We reply to every inquiry in the order it was received, usually within 7 business days. You can also call Manassas at (571) 271-9686, Culpeper at (571) 778-2244 or Alexandria at (703) 665-9642.

Can I request a specific artist?

Yes. Pick them in the form, or use the “Book” button on their artist page and the form is filled in for you. If you choose “No preference”, we’ll recommend an artist based on the style you’re after.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Availability changes day to day and differs between studios. Give the location you’d like to visit a call before stopping by and we’ll let you know if an artist can fit you in.

What are your hours?

Manassas and Culpeper are open Monday to Saturday 12 to 7 PM and Sunday 12 to 5 PM. Alexandria is open every day 12 to 7 PM. Holiday hours can differ, so call ahead if you’re planning a visit.

How much does a tattoo cost?

Every piece is custom, so pricing depends on the size, detail, placement and artist. Include those details in your request and we’ll get back to you with a quote.

Do I need a deposit?

Most artists require a non-refundable deposit to hold your appointment. The amount depends on the artist and the size of the piece, and we’ll confirm it when we reach out.

Do you do cover-ups and reworks?

Yes. Choose “Cover Up” or “Rework” as the style in the booking form and include a clear photo link of the existing tattoo so the artist can plan the design.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Get a good night’s sleep, eat a full meal beforehand, stay hydrated and skip alcohol the day before. Wear comfortable clothes that give easy access to the placement, and bring a valid photo ID.

Why haven’t I heard back?

We receive a high volume of requests and answer them in order, so it can take up to 7 business days. Check your spam folder, since our replies sometimes land there. Due to volume, not every project can be selected.

Do you host guest artists?

Guest spots are available. Artists interested in working out of Visionaries can reach us on Instagram at @visionaries_tattoostudio or by email.
